It's hard to get past the shipping wars that nearly wrecked the fandom back when seasons 6 and 7 were on the air. Some of us have long memories.

This is why I like reading articles from newcomers.

The last few years have been relatively calm on the shipper front but the comics have stirred the fandom up again.

I know that it's disheartening for you. But it's something that never truly disappears from fandom altogether. You either learn to ignore the taunts, learn to live with it or just walk away.
