Angel/Buffy for the finale. If the show is going to end, it might as well end properly (not forgetting that Angel becomes human of course).

Is this going to happen? Is SMG coming back for one last kiss? Man I just want my Angel to get some lovin! I don't care who it is, as long as it's someone worthy of his affections. It's not that it gives me a chance to see Angel naked again, or that I like to live vicariously through the character's sex lives (since I don't have one of my own) but...ok fine, you dragged it out of me. These are the reasons I want Angel to get some.

But there's also the curse. Wouldn't it be cool if at the end of the last episode Buffy walks into Angel's office and they go out on a date, ending up in the sack and then - uh oh, Angelus is back! and so Angelus goes on a W&H rampage and is confronted by Spike. Spike, having never encountered Angelus since receiving his soul, figures out the way to break Angel's curse. As it turns out, Angel can have perfect happiness and stay ensouled, but only with...(suspensful music) a man!

I mean, didn't David Fury say that Spike and Angel is the true love story of this season? The way I would write it is that Spike and Angel would get together and Angel gets his soul back and realizes he's been looking at everything all wrong. He doesn't have to brood anymore. He just needs to be with Spike. Afterall, if gay marriages are "legal" in California now, they can get married and therefore if one of them gets the Shanshu, they can share it. Awwww...How's that for a series finale. I could write this stuff couldn't I? I mean, who is Joss going to piss off by making Angel and Spike gay lovers? Gay is in this year right?

That's how I want to see it go down, anyway. How about you?

Entertaining as that thought is, I can't see it happening. Though Joss might do it as a two fingered gesture to The WB.
