sombrefanI actually read and listened to music last night. I hadn't done that in ages. Listened to the first CD of the New Order: Retro boxset (turned it had 5 CDs after all). New Order quite simply put are one of the best bands to come out of England. And the dvd NewOrderStory is the best music documentary ever.
Apparently UPN is in crisis , I tried to read the story on the Variety site for more back ground info but the f'ing site wouldn't process my one day subscription grrrr.
A couple of pieces from today's Guardian caught my eye.
US plan for new nuclear arsenal

and their supplement did a very good article on whether 12 leading historians thought the current Iraq crisis could be compared to 1939 or 1956 (Suez Crisis). Most of them said neither.

And the BBC news site got a revamp, I wish they wouldn't do that. It takes me ages to get used to the current format and then they have change it for no apparent reason.
