Usually I'd edit a linkless post at Whedonesque. But how the hell can any one edit something Joss has posted? I do love the man. Made my morning.

That linkless post in question

I bet all the tickets are gone already.

That's a pretty neat promotional trick, actually. Build up buzz from the early adopters and get repeat ticket buyers.

The ones that were live immediately sold out pretty quick. Fandango's East Coast website was down until their office opened for the morning, at 9 PDT (25 minutes ago at the time of this comment), so those tickets may still exist, but I wouldn't hold your breath - AICN got their hands on the link. Also, I'm told that Fandango evilly doesn't tell you whether or not the show is sold out until you get all the way to through the ordering process, which could lead to some serious "Nooooo!!!!" moments....

And, as an additional update, the thing sometimes says it's sold out, but resubmitting reveals that it isn't. Evil.

Also, though I hate to link the competition (sorry, Simon), Joss' email to AICN is funny as always. It's promising to know that the studio types are favorably impressed with this all. :)

The episodes that I saw left me cold. What can you do? [shrug]

But I'm happy on behalf of those that are.
