If you weren't listening to Simon Mayo interviewing Joss Whedon today on BBC Radio Five Live, the relevant part about a Spike movie was said.

Joss: "Right now I've been concentrating on trying to do a movie with Spike. A DVD Movie with Spike. And we're trying to see if that's financially feasible.

Simon Mayo: "Spike Lee?"

Joss: "I'm sorry. Spike the character from Buffy. Spike Lee is a different person."

Man, what I wouldn't give to see a Spike Lee/Joss Whedon collaboration.

Although a Spike, the vampire, movie is pretty nice, too.

Alternately, Spike and Spike Lee at a Knicks game would be worth watching. :)

Reminds me of when someone asked Tom Cruise why he didn't do movies like he used to do, like "Officer and a Gentleman"...

A little well-placed googling is a godsend!
