sombrefanSo we get back from the hospital and mum seemed fine apart that she thought she was going home this weekend. She's so frustrated staying at the hospital and just wants to get out.
Anyway, dad was cooking a stir fry and a nurse from the hospital phones to say that mum is worried that dad is in hospital. So dad has to phone mum to convince her that he is alright and is at home and I speak to her too to say that everything is fine. Her haemorrage affected the communication part of her brain and most of the time she is fine but every so often the brain gets an old signal and she gets so confused. Dad was very depressed after the phone call, I was too.
The trouble is we saw such a dramatic improvement in her after the platinum coil operation that the news about her mental state is the equivalent of getting a punch to the stomach. I hope dad can hold it together.
