My New Year's Resolutions

1) Campaign for a complete "Into The Night Garden" DVD boxset so I can give it to the wee man.
2) Enjoy the lack of general fan activity in 2011.
3) Be benign instead of mischievous. Or maybe combine the two.
4) Find a new show to obsess over after Supernatural. I have a Season 1 DVD of The Wire that I've never watched. So I might go with that. So I could watch Charmed. I could go either way really.
5) Convince people on my flist to love the following tv miniseries - GBH, A Very British Coup, Our Friends in the North and Das Boot.
6) Combine all my thoughts/writings on the fandom into one piece.
7) Stop reading Matthew Reilly books. Why Simon, why? Why do you do this to yourself?
8) Resign myself to accepting that I am actually an academic.
9) Encourage more fansite developments. Diversity is good. And it raises the game across the board.
10) Watch all my new Who boxsets from start to finish.
11) Write a Whedonesque app.

And now the end is near - Buffy Season 8 (or I've known shorter wars)

Buffy #1 came out on March 14, 2007. The final issue comes out on January 19, 2011. That means the fandom will have been talking about Season 8 for 1407 days or 3 years, 10 months and 5 days.
