Farewell David Ervine

A decent man but with a very chequered past. However he did his best for Northern Ireland and was very influential in the peace process and helped broker the loyalist ceasefire. He'll always have my respect. Northern Irish politics and indeed the politics of the whole of Ireland will be worse off without him.
