Best Doctor Who episode ever!!

Well possibly. Bloody hell, that was good. Best bit of tv I've watched all year.

Also a question about a blink and you'll miss it moment.

In the journal, there was a sketch of several men. Were they the previous Doctors as I am sure one of them was the eighth Doctor (i.e. Paul McGann).

Yes, there were, and McGan was very prominent.

I bloody loved this episode. Very much the Who equivalent of a 'chick flick' but beautifully done. Helped of course by the wonderful performance of the the actress who plays Martha, and the fact that the Beeb does 'historical' so damn easily.

I didn't realise it was a two parter. I spent the last few minutes wondering how they were going to wrap it all up. I wonder if we'll see a Paul and David meet up.

I caught that too. I think that was the seventh Doctor to the left. Not sure who was on the right.

Loved this episode... was expecting greatness from Paul Cornell and he didn't disappoint. Can't wait for next week's episode. And Steven Moffat's is the week after that.
