I downgraded from a sponsored account to a basic account.

Plus side no more horrible ads. Downside what the hell is this new layout?

How come there's never any good MySpace wank?

I have a paid account through Oct, so all I could do was turn off automatic payment.

MySpace wank, in my experience, generally happens on a very small scale and almost always starts or ends with changing who's in/the order of your Top Friends.

i checked out your layout, and it appears to be flexible squares, which is my fav, though i've got mine quite fancied up. i didn't know lj had chosen it to be the default layout, it must be their new thing...

That's the layout I had before the one I have now. I remember taking ages to get all the different boxes into the same colours, so it wouldn't look as a gazillion different boxes. What I have now is very clean and straightforward. The longer I've been doing this internet thing. The more I want something that's not too fancy-schmanzy.
