Given that the two greatest British TV icons in recent years are Captain Jack Harkness and DCI Gene Hunt, who do you think would win in a fight? I reckon it would be Gene. He wouldn't put with any nonsense.

Also new trash on the telly tonight. The Palace. It's about a fictional British royal family. Looks gloriously bad. Torchwood is on Wednesday. Has to be better this season as last season most of it made Hex look good. I am as ever deeply concerned about the covert hetrosexual message that the BBC seems to inflict on viewers. It's not right. Torchwood was made for slash fans. RTD needs to remember that.
