I do take a tiny bit of umbridge at the dismissal of Gargoyles as not being a legit geek interest. Definitely one of the best Western animated TV fantasies ever made.

You know, there are a lot of these pages around, making fun of pathetic geeks, but you never see "The 10 lamest non-fan gatherings." Honestly, I'd much rather spend an hour with a couple of yaoi fans than, say, the Promise Keepers, or those chicks who do scrapbooking.
