Would you be ok with the rival candidate winning?

Honestly, yes.

I'm for Obama/Biden. If McCain/Palin wins, I could be ok with that. While I don't like the way he ran his campaign, McCain is a good man and he wouldn't put this country into the crapper like Bush.

What scares me is Palin. God help us if McCain becomes ill or dies in office. If he's ok, we're ok. Palin can just sit there like a wallflower. The VP really doesn't have that much of a job, which is perfect for her.

I would have been if not for Palin. I'm far from comfortable with the idea of a religious fanatic that can't tell you what newspapers she reads being a heart attack away from being leader of the Free World.

No, I will not be okay with McCain/Palin winning. I don't even live in America, but I can see all the ways that will be bad for A) America, the last superpower and B) the world in which we all live.

I would be if not for Palin. The idea of President Palin makes me physically ill. Truly it does.

No. Because he's anti-choice, according to this voting record cares little about women's rights, and like every good Republican, caters more to big corporations than the middle and poor classes. That's just more of the last 8 years, which is bad for the country and bad for the world.

I'm a registered third party. I don't have a horse in the race.

I know the impact the last 8 years have had on this country, the world, some groups of people and individuals. But they have had, in all honestly, very little impact on my own life - my choices, my lifestyle, etc. If the presidential election goes in a direction other than the one I want, I'll still be interested in seeing what happens in the next four years. Kinda. Sorta. I'm only marginally interested in politics to begin with.

That said, where I stand on California's Proposition 8 is very different. If that passes, I will NOT be okay with it, and no American should be. It's a hate platform, it's unconstitutional and it'll be a downright shame if the evil bastards who support Prop H8ate win. A win would be a real pox on CA.
