Fox show lack of faith in Joss and Buffy season 8 by investing cash and effort into producing season 8 comic books. In a move which is sure to validate the naysayers and critics, Fox have begun voice casting for the characters. One online critic reacted by saying "oh shit, this means more people will see season 8".

From what I've heard 'motion comics' are only one step removed from Captain Pugwash in the old animation stakes. So I imagine they're not as expensive to produce as a 'real' animated product.

I just don't get why people can't be happy with what's given. It's like only a out and out resurrection of the show with all the original actors will satisfy. Anything less earns scorn.
