I was unaware of the fanfic term "lemon".

Me too, and I'm not ashamed to admit I read a lot of fanfic.

I've never seen anyone use that term for a PWP.

I think it's more common in anime fandoms and the like. I used to see it all the time in when I read Final Fantasy fics, but not so much in Buffy.

AFAIK, it's kind of an older term, possibly pre-internet. PWP (Porn without plot) is the term I usually see, if anything.

Yeah, I never saw that term used for a PWP either.

I actually haven't heard it much for almost then years. And back then, it was entirely within anime fandom.

Never heard it. And I spend many, many hours reading fanfic. Although, never on FF.N, so that might be it.

I've never heard that term. Presumably it means PWP.

I have mostly seen it in relation to Harry/Draco slash where the writer has obviously never actually had sex themselves.

Or, sometimes, as a warning, i.e. 'This next bit is lemony, feel free to skip it', within a longer fic with a a plot.
