Observations on watching Buffy back in the day

I cheered when Buffy said this

"I killed Angel! Do you even remember that? I would have given up everything I had to be with— I loved him more than I will ever love anything in this life."

I screamed "nooooo" at this line

"We will return... your soul."

I thought this was the best Buffy scene ever

"The thing is...I had a speech. I learned it all. Oh, God. She won't understand, she won't understand."

You cheered? God that line made me incredibly angry! Not at Buffy, at the guy or girl who wrote it. Seemed like Bangel pandering to me. I guess we all view things through our own filter.
Are you a Bangel then? Or why did it make you cheer?

Hmm. Interesting. I think I would have been okay if she hadn't said the "ever love anything in this life" part. It just made her sound really dumb. I mean who says that?
