1) Buffy #37 is universally praised. Nay-sayers wonder what they were complaining about and Bangels and Spuffies both feel satisfied. Probability 10%

2) Buffy #37 is the worst issue of the run so far. Nay-sayers find their camp engorged with refugees who are no longer willing to give Joss and co a pass. Probability 20%.

3) Buffy #37 splits the online fandom down the middle. Some like it, some don't. Nothing really changes in the balance of fandom alliances. Probability 70%.

4) Buffy #37 splits the Spuffy fandom down the middle. Older shippers, distrustful of Joss, refuse to have anything to do with it. Newer shippers feel invigorated. Probability 50%.

5) Buffy #37 once again causes fans to look at how they and other fans are coping. Little, if any, of the plot gets discussed. Probability 90%.

Well the proud tradition of attacking Buffyverse staff members must continue. We mustn't forget our noble attacks on Fury, Noxon, DeKnight etc. Because if we did, we wouldn't realise how stupid we are sometimes.

Apparently if you have a paid account you can edit your comments. I'm too cheap to find out.

It still tickles me Joss noticed the person attacking Marti on a Whedonesque thread and put them straight.

I wonder if he'd defend Scott Allie to the same extent.

I do dislike the states people I like get into.

I need to calculate how much it would cost to get caught up to issue #37 ...

Maybe If DH didn't seem to want to prod the fans with snark so often then some wouldn't get so pissed.

He totally would. I just doubt there's a need. I know that Marti takes things people say online personally, hence joss jumping on the negative.

I love S6, so I really don't get the Marti-hate. Allie, however, does seem to enjoy stirring it a bit too much for my taste.

"Cross" is one thing. Really upset, almost heartbroken? That I hate.

Yeah but you gotta admit, very often it was Fury's own comments to fans that instigated the attacks on him.

Honestly, discussing the plot sounds like such a relief. Come on people! Let's get that probability up!

Exactly. If fans were negative towards Fury in the past, Fury gave as good as he got.

I'm surprised you'd give a 10% probability to the first option. Optimistic fella!
