After spending months (years?) moaning about how terrible JJ Abram's Star Trek reboot was going to be, only to find out that it was BRILLIANT when I watched it, I'm actually going to give this Buffy reboot the benefit of the doubt. Also, Whit Anderson is a delight on Twitter!
Some context - JJ was really well known, but I personally didn't like anything of his (with the exception of the LOST pilot) until his Star Trek came out. What does being really, really famous (or not) have to do with whether someone can make a good movie?
