Yes, I iron. When it becomes unavoidable. Anything that can come out of the tumble-dryer warm and look fine after a shake and cooling down on a hanger doesn't meet the ironing board. Complicated clothes with frills, stiff collars/cuffs and so on do see the ironing board. So do jeans, linens and crisp cottons. Now my daughters are mostly away from home there are far fewer of those.

I iron all my work clothes where needed. T-shirts and the like get folded properly so as to avoid the need for ironing. If you need to iron jeans it removes the entire point and purpose of having heavy duty work wear. Suits that aren't dry cleaned can be hung properly when damp to hang out all the creases. If that fails, as it sometimes does, then an iron may be needed...

My regency LRP kit needs to be ironed and starched correctly but that's ok cos I have a valet to do that for me IC. Of course, OOC my valet is me with a different hat on. So I have to iron and starch all that myself... however, I don't have to use an authentic flat iron heated on a coal fire and old fashioned starch. I can use a steam iron and spray starch so it is a lot easier...

I hate it and whined enough that we send his clothes out to be ironed. I don't buy clothes that need it (and my work is VERY casual).

I iron clothes (when the girlie needs school shirts at short notice) otherwise I have someone who is paid to do it. Because I hate it THAT much.
