Buffy reboot thoughts

I wonder if fans want a rebooted West Wing movie with a different actor playing Bartlett and none of the other TV characters appearing.

They wouldn't do such a thing because the basic premises are different. A movie/tv show about daily life in a government office doesn't offer the same type of originality as a female vampire slayer. Even though the characters in "The West Wing" are original, have their own personalities and quirks, people would see such a re-boot as "just another drama about the government." Whereas Buffy? That has it's cult following, and any attempt to re-do it wouldn't be mistaken for anything else.
