Most of the time it is a load of pretentious twaddle mixed up with incomprehensible red tape brought on by senior management, but working in one is glorious. Nothing beats helping students.
Helping school kids is in the same league. I hate all the paperwork in my job, but enthusing kids and letting them fly or listening to kids and helping them feel they matter? Priceless.
