Our kid watched with interest and is very jealous of the bicycle helmet. He wants one, too.

Adam hated it at the start but last week he actually put it on for the first time. I was very impressed.

He sees me riding off on my bike with a helmet on my head quite regularly, so I think he wants to be grown-up and have one, too. Also, there are some kids at the playground who have cycle helmets and he's got to have what they have. (Peer pressure sets in early...)

I bet that when we want him to wear a helmet he suddenly loses interest.

LB loves her helmet. It's all part of the ritual of getting on my bike to cycle to daycare or back home. When I get that helmet out, she can't wait to get on the bike.

I should get myself one though. I bet she won't like wearing it at one point if I don't wear one too.

He actually sounds a bit American! Linguist do say that babies/toddlers babble in their mother's accent and I'm American, but even his few words sound American to me!
