Haven't read anywhere that Cordy dies in 12, but then again, haven't looked. Does she die, or does she "Ascend" again or some crap?
As for Fred? I've got a feeling that Fred the person will die, but Fred the body will live on, with a slightly newer character, the Old one/Fred. Or... "Frold".
