Feb. 2nd, 2004 12:17 pmHighly amused to find out that the streaker was that notorious prankster from England who has done similar pranks for football games and F1 racing. Watched a documentary about him once, he came over as a really sad individual who wanted the publicity. Still he did go onto centre court with his mate at Wimbledon and for that we should be grateful for.
My credibility at my local comic book store actually rose on Saturday when I bought some stuff by Ellis and Millar. The Global Frequencies TPB was superb but it did leave the impression that you had read it all before. God help the WB if they ever do make it into a TV series. Bought "Wanted" as well, this so impressed the 18 yr long haired geek serving me that he actually tried to find issue 2 for me as well. Turns out that was sold out. Ah well. Heh, I was reading Ennis when he was in nappies. Usually I am the most normal person in that shop (apart from the two uber cool old guys who run it). If its not full of wee kids looking at the latest comic book action figures, its full of bloody loud teen goths who you just want to slap or weird single men in their 30s who are small for some reason.
Anyway I digress, hopefully tomorrow we should have a wedding day set in stone. And in April, I'm off to L.A. (which is in America) to help Robyn get a visa thingy.
