Not that I doubt some of my brothers and sisters in Christ aren't crazy enough to think this up and try to pull it off, but it just seems like an elaborate parody to me.

Then again, ask me some time about the Texas cattle ranchers selling all their pure white bulls to a group in Israel so they have them ready when it comes time to re-consecrate the Temple of Jerusalem. I only *wish* that were a joke.

Tis true...the guy instigating this was on my morning talk show on the radio a couple of days ago. Even the host didn't want to believe him, but he insisted that while succession from the nation was a last resort, it was indeed true.

I know there's a Libertarian movement hoping to do the same thing. That said, I suspect they'll find it more difficult than the numbers make it sound - I don't think any state in the Union will appreciate being Carpet-Bagger hijacked.

Why not Florida, so that they can reap all of the tourist industry rewards?
