Bored so checked out the competition

sombrefanI've occasionally wondered what fansites for rival shows were like. So I found a Smallville site (can't remember how) and it wasn't too bad, nice layout ,same feverish devotion to spoilers like most Buffy sites have and a not too bad opinion piece articles.

I really tried to like Smallville but I always felt it was a Buffy clone in season one and besides you know that Clark Kent will become Supermman so there's never going to be a threat to the main character.
Look at Buffy ("Hey I died twice"). The show isn't safe, it takes risks, currently this season we've seen two minor (but popular with fans) characters killed off. One of them Jonathan had been in it since the start and Halfrek who I was starting to really like.
I bet the finale will take everyone by surprise.
