Sky One got the world premiere rights to it and the first episode aired last night.

It's very dark. And rivals Deep Space Nine in its intensity. The cast is the same as the mini-series/pilot. There are some suprising twist and turns and it doesn't let up in terms of action. So far it is the best sci-fi series in the last few years. Far better than Enterprise in terms of characters and plot, more emotionally involving than Firefly and doesn't play it safe like Stargate Atlantis. It's Das Boot in space. It's that bloody good.
After that ended, we watched the second episode of the new series of Spooks. Events of an interesting nature occur. I said last week I thought it was going to be dark and it turned out I was right. Good to see that this show is not playing it safe as well.

Spooks....
Date: 2004-10-19 09:24 am (UTC)BG i'm watching tonight or tomorrow (taped it) but i've developed quite a liking for it after seeing the Mini-series
I'm not liking the fact that Hex is taking up 11% of the memory on the Sky+ box because my dad wants to watch it (even though i told him it's beyond crap)
