With a greater margin in the popular voter than I thought. Last time I listen to the pundits about increased voter turn out favouring the challenger.

So I say

Clinton/Obama '08

Although I still think it's too early to call, I am afraid you may be correct. I do like the idea of the Clinton/Obama ticket in 4 years though.

Clinton's too devisive, Obama's too new.

Obama's going to need to serve at least a full Senate term before he can even think about running for President or Vice President. Hilary Clinton is too devisive a figure--I think she's still mostly well-liked, but the result will likely look a lot like this year's result.

It'll either be Edwards, Dean, or perhaps someone that we don't expect. I think Edwards is most likely.

But Ohio is still too close to call, Iowa's not calling until tomorrow, and there are, from what I've heard, over one million absentee ballots in Florida outstanding with a margin of about 350K. It's definitely favoring Bush, but it's not over until it's over. We're looking at ten days (when provisional ballots in Ohio begin to be counted) before we know the final result, most likely.

Clinton and Obama are two of the hot Democratic stars. But what about others in the Republican party? After Bush's second term, who will their Presidential candidates be?

I certainly can't see Cheney. Looks too old, don't think his heart could take it.

Those are two candidates I could quite willingly get behind. Especially McCain.

That I can see...

Although which one of those two would be better suited for Prez? I can see McCain being Prez more than Guiliani, but mebby that's just me.

(this all, of course, is dependent on whether we add an Amendment changing the qualifications for President to include non-native Americans and Swartzengruber decides to "pump us up"

I would so vote for Rudy.

It'd be fun to see the Rudy/Hilary race though, since we missed out on it last time.

I would be so down with McCain
