And conceded, bless him.

Now the thing I'm wondering about now. Traditionally, a president in his second term at some stage gets tagged as a 'lame duck' and loses influence in the media and government. Usually in his two last year from what I can remember. Do you think this will happen to Bush?

Nope, no lame duck here...

A "Lame Duck" president is a president who really doesn't do anything, good or bad.

With larger majorities in the House and senate, and with the probability of more control over the Supreme Court, Bush will be able to do just about anything he wants.

That will further alienate the US from the rest of the world. The debt will continue to spiral out of control, and he's the most "limiting" president in recent history when it comes to personal freedoms.

Sorry, I don't see what George could possibly do different except run this country into the crapper even further.

Not if the congress remains primarily Republican. When the President and Congress are of the same party, more bills are passed, more spending is approved, more nominations for judges are approved, etc. They might be a small lame duck effect, but as long as the GOP has the majority, it will be negligible.
