Come January, the Brits show the rest of the world how Sci-Fi should be done.
And for those of you who don't know. The Doctor is played by Christopher Eccleston, Britain's greatest living actor who hasn't starred in any of the Harry Potter films.

Thank frigging GOD!
Date: 2004-12-02 03:34 pm (UTC)I remember staying up late on Sunday nights (gasp... school nights!), watching the half hour of Monty Python, then Dave Allen at Large, and then the goodness that is Doctor Who! Mostly the Tom Baker years... I think we got the seasons 2 or three years after first in England.
I just hope and pray that they try to keep close to the overall storyline. Please don't suddenly say "oh, he's got 14 more Regenerations, the Tardis can change shape, and UNIT never existed."

Usually.
