Dave Allen, Ireland's greatest ever comedian passes away

Hated hypocrisy here especially religious, we loved him for making fun of it.

One summer, when I was in high school, our PBS station had the following weeknight schedule:
11 PM- Dr. Who
11:30 - Monty Python's Flying Circus
12 mid- Dave Allen at Large

Needless to say, that summer looms greatly in my mind as a formative influence.

This new greatly saddens me. I grew up with his irreverant humour and layback style.
