Is it just me or are certain Spike fans starting to sound exactly like those notorious B/A Havenites? Stamping their feet and being rude cause they don't get what they want. Listen. Joss has moved on. Deal. The Buffyverse had a good innings, we got some great characters and ships out of it. But's it over. It's all about Serenity. And then it'll be about Wonder Woman.


Go and worship at the feet of Russell T. Davies or Ron Moore.

I think the hardcore of each fan grouping have always sounded like that though, the B/A'er, the Cordelia fans, the Spike fans, which admitedly is the only three hardcore groups I've ever been aware of, where was the letter writing campaigns and ads for the all gay musical episode? That'd have got my money and declarations that Joss is a hack for failing to provide it. *nods*

oh, and to end on a more serious note, I agree, I think Joss has moved on from the Buffy/Angel verse, and even the internet fandom, while still in existence, is much quiter than it was back in the day, I'm dubious how commerically viable a continuation is now and I bet Fox is too.

Ron Moore is the guy who revamped Battlestar Galactica for the 21st Century. You're right about the Buffyverse fandom being quieter, but the Firefly/Serenity fandom has really expanded. Which I'm quite pleased about.

Well, I do remember an uproar when Tara died, so I'm guessing at one point or another there were hardcore Tara fans. And I agree. Hard core fans of Buffy and Angel the shows who are yearning for it to continue have sounded like that back then and still now. For the most part, it isn't just a specific group in the fandom with those views. And truthfully, I can *get* and understand where they are coming from even though I've been content with no continuation of the verse for some time now... well, as soon as NFA ended actually.
