Yes buffy.nu (or whedon.info as they now call themselves) are charmless shits. That Glenn Quinn death piece they put up? Made me sick to my stomach. They've gone to far this time with their cynical tabloid exploitation of the Whedonverse. They don't care about how much they hurt people. Vile loathsome money grabbing bastards.

And just to recap here's the reasons why I detest them so much.

1) Hotlinking to other people's pics and killing their bandwidth.
2) Reprinting articles/pics without permission.
3) Reprinting articles from people who specifically asked that they not be reprinted.
4) Spreading false rumours to get more hits. Examples. Is SMG pregnant?
5) Not checking their facts and giving false hope to the fandom. Anyone remember that "Angel going to NBC" story?
6) Pissing off just about every Buffyverse fansite around with their antics.
7) Using bots to spam the comment pages at Slayerverse.de.
8) Sending obnoxious emails to fans who politely complain about the content on Buffy.nu.
9) Having probably the most piss poor designed front page I have ever seen.
10) Stealing stories and not acknowledging the source.

They are the single website I refuse to link to.

When I notice people link to them, I ALWAYS hunt down the original source and privately email the person to explain to them why they should link there instead.

Has anyone gone to their ISP/hosting service/whatnot?

Whedonesque, by contrast, was cool enough to simply link to it. :) The latter ends up winning out anyway--because if nothing else, they will always have an updated site to go to, rather than buffy.nu's now-woefully-out-of-date copy.

And dude! Look at that, they totally stole your Dinosaur Comic posting and they even used your fucking title. Okay, it's actually stimpson's title, but you put the space in "a la." Wow. What asshats.
