Have I mentioned how much I loath the word Browncoat? Never liked it in regards to the Firefly/Serenity fandom.

Almost as irritating as the words used to describe 'ships. Like Spuffy or Bangel.

Yes I am in a crabby fandom mood. Why do you ask?

For instance, you could have wound up editor on a Harry Potter website and had to sit through this weekend's The Battle for Harry/Hermionie: Part The Bazillionth.

When I read the second post from some 14 year old who said that JKR did not know what she was talking about when she said that Ron and Hermione were destined for each other, I fled in terror.

Am with you on the Brownshirts, though. Have never really understood the Browncoats thing, but then ain't very big into Serenity-fandom and only ended up in the Jossverse-fandom by mistake (got lost when I was looking for information on storylines and then never found the way out).

Am 'shipping Spangel all the way, btw, just to irritate the hell out of the "serious" 'shippers. *g*
