My advice? Stay well away from brand new fans (well meaning or not) who ask for money.

On the site, there is a notice that says:

No more donations are being taken at this time!

What's scary isn't that they are doing this. What's scary is that they have already received $840. Which leads to the question: What happens to the money when they whole thing falls through?
