That other Buffy movie

So we're yacking over at Whedonesque about the new Whedon bio that'll be coming out soon in the next couple of years and I mentioned that I'd like to see it covering Joss projects that didn't happen.

Like this one.

"Whedon, who recently signed a large overall deal at Twentieth Century Fox for both film and TV, is best known for another vampire franchise, "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Whedon is also developing a "Buffy" feature, based on the WB netlet's TV series, which itself was adapted from the original Whedon film of the same name."

So my second idle thought in as many days is, what the heck would the movie have been about and would it essentially have been season 3 or 4 condensed for the silver screen?

I'd wager if it were to take place after s2 that'd it'd be Angel centric about trying to get him back from hell. I doubt Spike would have been any more than a minor character.
