Last weekend

Now it can be told.

Sunday: Watched my mother slit her wrist with a penknife in a shoe shop. Blood going everywhere. It was an accident and she was fine but hanging around casualty for 2 and an half hours was not fun.

Monday: At dad's retirement do, accidently saw Ireland's most distinguished citizen putting his teeth in, in the men's toilet. I'll try not to remember him that way.
