Looks like the major Sky channels will no longer be available on Virgin Media (nee NTL) from the start of March. So no more watching the Stargate shows, Lost and Battlestar Galactica for me and Robyn.

"Sky has told Virgin Media that it will pull its major channels from the network at the end of this month after talks broke down last night.

The two companies could not agree on a rate that Virgin Media would pay for the satellite broadcaster's basic channels - Sky One, Two, Three, News, Sports and Sport News."

Oh well, that's me buggerd as well. I can't afford to change to a Sky package just for one channel, and so it's by, by Sky 1.

Just have to learn to live without first run yank shows from ow on then. *sigh*

I hate Virgin Media already, their 'tv when you want it' consists of three episodes of season 1 Alias, I miss the old days when you had to wait 4 days to talk to someone at ntl.

Yes I saw that cheers, thankfully we get the Irish channels on Virgin Media here in Northern Ireland.
