One of the advantages of being able to speed read is that I could finish the book in about 2 and a half hours. It was good, I enjoyed it. Being interesting to see what she does next.
I'm detached enough from the books (long time between and I forget) that I'll wait until someone lends me a copy, but the speedreading. It gets you through a book fast, but doesn't it diminish the contemplation part of the experience? Not sure exactly what I mean there, but something to do with staying in the world and have it kind of blossom in the imagination over the course of a longer period of reading.
