My girlfriend and I were talking on the phone about the reasons why I got this journal, partly because I want to a place to write down my feelings regarding my mum's illness and god knows what the other reason was. Anyway, a point was raised about if journals in the past were considered to be private why is it so different now? Seems like everyone and their mother is now showing their private lives online. Do we want to be judged by people who don't know us?

Are we now voyeurs who like eavesdrop on other peoples lives? Heck I feel guilty having a look at other people's journals. I'm sure there is enough material on blogs/journals to write several PHds on.

Anyway that's enough pretentious ranting by me.

Ashanti looks so hot! Finally some african-american talent on the show, of course every black person has either been killed or a villian, but ah, what are ya gonna do? But.. yes.. Ashanti looks damn sexy with a sword! :)

I can't help but notice that Principal Wood is an african-American (though having only seen the first 6 episodes of season 7 for all I know he may have been killed off).
