The launch of Dr Horrible went much as could be expected. There was international angst as it didn't occur to any Americans involved that Hulu couldn't be viewed outside the States. Joss decided to turn into Wallace Breen and grumped at people and then the official site crashed. But apart from that, it wasn't too bad. The first part of the musical was good fun. Perhaps not very memorable in the long run but fun viewing all the same. Kudos to the production team as it did look very slick indeed.

It was a bit like a monty python sketch, the launch.

I was grateful the international problem got sorted when it did. It was overshadowing the musical itself which is the last thing anyone wanted.

I'm surprised they got the international problem sorted when they did, to be honest, since it was 'out of hours'. I am presuming Joss and friends have some kind of relationship with Hulu. Probably via 20th Century Fox, which I think part owns Hulu.

I hope they get the site fixed... I reeeeeeally want to see it. I'd have no problem purchasing it, but I refuse to install iTunes on my computer so that's out.
