This archaeological show is one of the worst high profile British dramas in years.* I watched the first episode wondering if it was a spoof of BBC shows. But alas it wasn't. Cliche after cliche with wooden characters and dialogue you could see a mile away. The second episode sunk to new depths with an Obama lookalike plotline. It's a cheap cash-in on those god awful Dan Brown wanabee novels. If anyone on my flist is pondering whether to watch it, don't. Gouge your eyes instead, it'll be quicker and less painful. The real shame is that it comes from the creators of Life Of Mars and Ashes To Ashes.

*It's at level pegging with Hex, Torchwood and Robin Hood.
