Saw Quantum of Solace today. Apart from the abysmal opening titles and the giggleworthy "and this is how we must advance the plot" moments , it was no where near as bad as the reviews made out. Some of the scenes were very good indeed and showed much imagination. All in all, a very competent Bond movie but didn't deliver the emotional highs that Casino Royale did.

And I would have no objections to the next Bond movie just being a Craig/Dench buddy cop type movie. They have great chemistry together.

I enjoyed it. There was a lot more action than Casino Royale. At one point, it was like car chase, horse race, foot race, boat race, where's the plane chase?
