When counter-terrorism officers arrest a senior opposition politician over leaks, it is clear that there is something rotten at the heart of government. This is an appalling trangression against the very principles of British politics and something akin to the actions of a third world dictatorship.

Shame on you Gordon Brown for allowing the police to be turned into the UK Stasi. I hope the media and bloggers don't let up on what's happened.
