I was suspecting that this was going to be the case. They always get the less new successful shows, or ones that had short runs.

Yep. That would be right. I gather that 20th Century Fox didn't show the episodes that Mutant Enemy wanted them to screen for people looking to buy the show. Which put a lot of foreign networks off from buying it (don't blame them - the first two episodes didn't scream "must have").

True. 20th Century Fox didn't have a clue how to market Buffy half the time and buggered up the Spike DVD movie.
