On Yesterday
Jul. 5th, 2009 10:19 pmBaby slipped out of mum's arms last night and fell face front onto the floor. Went to hospital in state of high anxiety. After a wee wait and one x-ray and a CAT scan the doctor said "Good news he doesn't have fractured ribs, bad news he has a fractured skull". Wanted to throw up on the spot but managed to hold it together. Fortunately it's a very minor fracture and he's behaving normally i.e. pooing, demanding to be fed and being cranky and yelly. Pretty much a shipper really. Anyhow he's was in overnight last night and is staying overnight tonight. And is going to have a full x-ray tomorrow. And hopefully then will be back home.
The whole thing was as scary as anything, I swear to God.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can take him home tomorrow.

Date: 2009-07-06 02:25 am (UTC)If it's any consolation, I believe I was dropped on my head as a child. But then again, I guess I sometimes/pseudo qualify as a shipper. So perhaps that's less consolation than you'd like. ;)
