Our distinguished Culture Minister here in Northern Ireland thinks that creationism should be exhibited in museums because (wait for it) it's a "human rights issue". Not being able to vote is a "human rights issue", police brutality is a "human rights issue". Wanting to have your controversial religious views on display in a publicly funded museum is not a "human rights issue". It makes a mockery of the situation. This guy thinks that the Ulster protestants are one of the lost tribe of Israel. We really are the most backward state in Western Europe. Gah.

I would be sympathetic, except Texas just re-wrote their history textbooks to omit referring to the United States as a democracy.
