Every so often I like to think the comic book industy has thrown off its fanboy image and welcomes women as equals. But then offensive nonsense like this comes along and then the whole thing gets reset back to zero.

The industry has, for the most part moved on. The trouble is that it's easy to get dragged backward by stuff like this. At Big Apple Con a while ago, I saw a bunch of girls writhing around on a stripper pole attached to the old batmobile and thought I must have stepped into a time warp. Sexist men are sexist but, thankfully, there's less and less room for them in the comic book industry every day.

I know people aren't so keen on IDW at the moment but it's worth mentioning how nice it is that there's a women who writes and edits the book, a woman whose doing the cover art, and a woman who is the main artist as well.

Whether or not I'm easily swayed by an English accent has no being on the fact that Medeival Spawn and Dark Ages Spawn are the SAME DAMN CHARACTER, you lying cheating thief.

Speaking as someone who often affects an English accent in a professional capacity, so are men.

But yeah, no one of consequence cares what that guy thinks.
