Underrated seasons revisited

Who knew that Angel Season 4 would be more preferable than Buffy Season 4? The fans have spoken and they're not wrong. Actually I really enjoyed that season of Angel or Angel Season 24 as some wags (namely me) dubbed it. Four words - slowmo Wes with guns. Also Angelus, "welcome Faith", "I think you need a witch", the glory that was Conor and Cordelia, The First impersonating Darla (probably), Home!, Lilah's contract, Jasmine and on and on and on. It was a fantastic non-stop rollercoaster ride something which Buffy only achieved with the last four episodes of Season 6, Firefly well never and Dollhouse with the last nine episodes.

Angel season 4 was pretty awesome, IMHO. Although, by the time I saw it, I got to watch them all back-to-back with little or no waiting between them; that probably makes a difference. I think it's greater than the sum of it's parts.
