Hello, I've been meaning to write for a while now, because I feel like I should apologize even though I probably don't actually need to apologize. I'm the person that named Whedonesque Burlesque and for some reason I hadn't thought twice about the fact that "hey, there's this website called "Whedonesque" and maybe you should use a different name." I simply threw the -esque on because it sounded right with "Burlesque." It was about a week into organizing the event that I realized it might have been inappropriate, because that's your site's name.
Anyway, I don't know if you care or not, but I've been feeling conflicted about it and wanted you to know. You do great work for the world of Whedon fandom and I wholly respect and appreciate it.
